Shoot Production The Eden Project: Overview
I was briefed to produce a shoot for The Eden Project, who wanted a series of images and video content to talk about their ‘Big Lunch’. The shoot had to take place in a suburban environment, look like summer time, with a range of cast including children, and had to took enticing to encourage sign up and participation.
Casting
I worked closely with the client to cast two children of the age and ethnicity required. They had to look like they could be part of a family. I cast the children and got child licenses sorted for each child.
Schedule and budget
I worked closely with the photographer and videographer to create a schedule for the day that would allow enough time to capture both, moving between one and the other. I also allowed for time for each set to be dressed and prepped.
Location finding
I researched a number of locations and recced them in order to find a suburban location that was suitable. Researching for a suitable home that looks appropriate for the clients audience, but also had access to a street, for our street party to happen.
